Requirements / Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid California Driver's License Resume Letters of Recommendation Substance abuse prevention training (as evidenced by college course, district approved workshop or seminar that includes instruction in substance abuse prevention, and the effects of steroids, tobacco, and alcohol) CPR and First Aid training (as evidenced by college course, district approved is- service) Child or adolescent psychology (as evidenced by college course, district approved seminars, or substantive experience in school or community sports programs) Applicants selected for employment will be required to submit fingerprinting and negative TB test for clearance.
Comments and Other Information
Knowledge/Experience of desired sport is preferred. Please note, coaches may be eligible to coach more than one sport, as long as they are not during the same season.
