Qualifications: Education/Certification:
  • Master's degree in educational administration
  • Texas Mid-Management or other appropriate Texas Certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Ability to work collaborative with classroom teachers, principals and campus testing coordinators
  • Ability to coordinate district-wide assessment programs
  • Ability to interpret data and identify performance gaps
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
  • Five years' experience as a campus/district testing coordinator
Testing:
  • Direct state testing program, K-12.
  • Supervise the distribution of standardized tests.
  • Serve as STAAR district level coordinator.
  • Serve as TELPAS district level coordinator.
  • Serve as PSAT district level coordinator.
  • Serve as ACT district level coordinator.
  • Serve as SAT district level coordinator.
  • Conduct annual training for all campus testing coordinators.
  • Order, distribute, maintain, collect, and ship all standardized tests.
  • Report test irregularities to superintendent's office and Texas Education Agency.
  • Maintain oath and confidentiality records.
  • Participate in evaluation of district standardized testing program.
  • Implement the policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy in the area of assessment.
  • Articulate the district's mission, instructional philosophy, and curriculum implementation strategies to the community and solicit its support in realizing the district's mission.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize tasks and meet all deadlines for preparation and submission of grant applications and grant related reports.
  • Assist with TEA Campus Interventions Oversight.
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
  • Successfully advances district initiatives.
  • Minimum $77,529 annually - 226 days Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
