QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certification: Associates Degree or a minimum of 48 college hoursSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Basic clerical skills Knowledgeable of the subject being tutored Good interpersonal skills Experience:Previous experience tutoring students preferred color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1) >Workdays: 180 color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1) >Hours Per Day: 3-4 hours (up to 19 hours per week)MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide academic enrichment assistance to students.

Tutor students after school.

Keep attendance records for each student tutored.

Follow McAllen ISD customer service standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor (primary evaluator).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in supervision of tutees WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; ability to instruct Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents and the school community
