ANTICIPATED START DATE: TBD
ASSIGNMENT: The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant is responsible for implementing intervention and therapy regarding students' fine and gross motor skills and functional abilities (e.g. perceptual-motor, hand functions, motor coordination, sensory development, muscle strength, etc.) under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* COTA Credentials REQUIRED
* Communicates regularly with students, parents/guardians, and teaching staff.
* Must be willing to provide direct services to students.
* Required to work with a wide range of student behaviors; required to work with a wide range of physical and emotional disabilities; may occasionally deal with distraught or difficult students.
* Provides assistance to the Occupational Therapist with evaluations and IEP's for students with Occupational Therapy needs.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* May be required to acquire a current first aid/CPR card.
* Bilingual Preferred
RCW 49.58.110 REQUIREMENTS
Hourly Pay Rate: $30 - $37 per hour
