All Native Group is in search of a Personnel Security and Vetting SME to support the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (OUSD(I&S)), Counterintelligence, Law Enforcement and Security Directorate.

Essential Functions
- Develop, revise, interpret, and coordinate policies about personnel security to include, but not limited to, tiered background investigations, adjudications, and continuous evaluation of DoD personnel. This includes national security positions, positions requiring access to classified national security information, sensitive and non-sensitive positions, and personnel that require physical access to DoD installations and facilities, and/or logical access to DoD information systems.
- Provide support for the development of strategies and initiatives to improve personnel security and adjudication processes to include, but not limited to, implementation of an electronic fingerprint capture, store, and forward capability, Joint Personnel Adjudications System (JPAS) policy maintenance and sustainment, transition from JPAS to the Joint Verification System - Defense Information Systems for Security, adjudicator certification, oversight of investigative service provider billing and product quality, oversight of Central Adjudication Facility policies, procedures, 2004 Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act compliance, continuous evaluation to defend against insider threats, establishment and implementation of performance metrics and monitoring.
- Provide Performance Metrics, Assessments, and Programmatic support.
- Developing staff packages (Action and Info Memos) in conformance with OSD, OUSD(I&S), and local office requirements.
Education and Minimum Qualifications
- Must have active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of security policy or operational experience as a staff action officer on an OSD, JCS, or Military Department headquarters staff.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with DoD, Intelligence Community, and national-level personnel security policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of the DoD's personnel security functions to include personnel security manager responsibilities, investigations, and adjudication policies.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated expert proficiency in policy development; drafting, formatting, tracking, staffing, reviewing and reconciling inputs to DoD Directive(s), Instruction(s), Manual(s) and other publications; as well as conducting critical review of other entities' policy documents to ensure personnel security equities are accurately reflected.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience developing, updating, and coordinating personnel security policy and providing policy interpretations and policy guidance.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience coordinating effectively with the DoD services, Agencies, and Field Activities to resolve complex personnel security policy issues.
- Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience with developing performance metrics and assessments.
- Demonstrated excellent professional writing and project management skills.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is full time position. Monday- Friday. Must stay until 4:30pm daily.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected.
Security Clearance
Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI security clearance
