2024 Advancing Black Pathways Fellowship Program - Asset & Wealth Management- Asset Management Products TrackNew York, NYIn 2019, JPMorgan Chase launched the Advancing Black Pathways (ABP) initiative to solve some of the persistent challenges facing people from underserved and disadvantaged communities, particularly Black communities. ABP focuses on three areas where there are persistent racial and economic disparities that create barriers to long-term financial success. Three pathways - Wealth, Education and Careers -- have been created to develop solutions that will yield the most impactful, tangible benefits.The Opportunity:Under the Education Pathway, ABP offers a five-week paid, full-time summer fellowship held in select JPMorgan Chase offices. The Advancing Black Pathways (ABP) Fellowship Program offers a five-week paid, full-time summer fellowship held in select JPMorgan Chase offices. The ABP Fellowship Program is designed to attract undergraduate sophomores who are interested in early exposure to financial services careers and committed to the advancement of individuals from underrepresented groups in this industry. The ABP Fellowship Program is seeking sophomore students, including, without limitation, Black students, who are interested in exploring career opportunities at JPMorgan Chase. We are looking for dynamic individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to help us grow and position our businesses for the future. All sophomore students who are interested in the Fellowship Program, regardless of background, are welcome to apply.Participants will be provided with an introduction to financial services and the firm. They will be exposed to our senior leaders and have an opportunity to learn about our businesses, build professionaldevelopment skills, and gain insight into how their diverse backgrounds and perspectives as financial services professionals might positively impact the future of people's lives, the firm and our industry.This opportunity will expose students to careers in financial services and include hands-on experience, mentorship, and a project-based curriculum, designed to help build a pathway to future employment opportunities. The ABP Fellowship Program is committed to providing early exposure and professional development opportunities to participants. Participants in the Fellowship Program are encouraged to apply for the JPMorgan Chase internship program the following year, and, upon successful completion of the internship, full-time employment with the firm.The ABP Fellowship Program will consist of one-week of training and orientation onsite at one of our firm's locations. During this time, fellows will participate in orientation to our firm, our businesses, and gain the technical and practical knowledge needed to be successful during the program. After the induction, fellows will report to the designated location for their specific line of business track.Under the Asset Management Products Track, you will spend a portion of the Program learning how we partnership with our senior business leaders to develop strategies that support our clients' needs. These solutions will give you exposure to the various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real assets, hedge funds and private equity. In your application, please indicate your top two choices for our investment products teams: Beta Strategies: We build specialized index products and portfolio capabilities across asset classes, including our electronic-traded funds business. Equities: We manage a broad range of equity investment strategies globally with dedicated portfolio managers, research analysts and traders who have expertise in helping clients of all sizes. Fixed Income: We offer an array of debt solutions, including investment grade, high yield and emerging market debt. Hedge Funds: We manage hedge fund portfolios for institutional and high net worth individuals, offering a broad range of products and capabilities to help investors reach their objectives. Liquidity: We help clients invest within a range of currencies, risk levels and durations, including taxable and tax-free money market funds, short-term fixed income funds and separately managed accounts. Multi-Asset Solutions: We utilize capital markets investing, strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management to develop portfolio solutions for our clients. Private Equity: We build and maintain the private equity portfolios for our clients. We have partnered with the Forage technology platform to provide real-life and self-paced learning modules for Asset Management. Read more about Asset Management. Locations fellows may join:New York, NYFellows will have an opportunity to select up to three location preferences on their application. Potential placement could include any of our offices within the city's metropolitan area.Successful completion of the Fellowship Program can lead to an offer for one of JPMC's summer internships the following year.About You:To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S..
