2025-2026 CEO AmeriCorps VISTA Leader
The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) believes in the transformational power of work, and our vision is that anyone with a criminal record who wants to work has the preparation and support needed to find a job and to stay connected to the labor force. Two AmeriCorps VISTA Leaders will support CEO's 19-member multi-state VISTA project that seeks to change the status quo for individuals returning home from incarceration. Each Leader will assist with recruitment and reporting, coordinate member training and professional development opportunities, and develop unified tools for VISTAs to track resource development, volunteer engagement, and partnership-building activities. Service Setting: This role may be served in an office setting, selected candidates must reside within 50 miles, or a reasonable commuting distance, of a CEO office. Member Duties : The CEO VISTA Leader will: support recruitment and onboarding of VISTA members, conduct VISTA member training and coordinate ongoing VISTA professional development, monitor progress toward VAD objectives and troubleshoot challenges as they arise, and work to ensure overall project stability and develop best practices.
