Overview:

This role will be responsible for assisting in developing and maintaining financial budgets and allocations under the guidance of the Head Office and Executive Management; supporting the analysis and monitoring of the execution of financial budgets; preparing management reports as required by the Head Office and Executive Management and contributing to expense management and assist in managing fixed assets.
Responsibilities:
Expense Management
- and queries with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and SQL to analyze data
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Branches Expense Management Policy.
- Support the preparation of the annual expense budget and allocations, following guidelines from the Head Office and Executive Management.
- Monitor, analyze, and document the execution of the annual expense budget periodically.
- Support in evaluating new and existing projects/initiatives to assess their validity and value as part of the financial reviewing working group.
Fixed Assets Management
- Assist in maintaining and updating Branches Fixed Assets Management Policy.
- Support and coordinate with other departments to apply for fixed assets budget approval from Head Office.
- Support and work closely with other departments in tracking and forecasting fixed assets execution in comparison to their budget.
- Support and coordinate with other departments to conduct annual inventory fixed assets required by Head Office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree of Accounting or Finance required at the time of hiring
- Internship experience in banking and financial services industry is preferred
- Proficient user of financial software (MS Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Problem solving skills
- Must have excellent communication and writing skills
- Knowledge in pertinent company codes and policies; personnel processes; program planning and development; audit procedures; and regulatory policies and laws is preferred
Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidates relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
