JOB SUMMARY:
Supply Chain Management knowledge of various manufacturing non-product services focusing on office and marketing services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supports and conducts strategic sourcing (RFI's, RFQ's, RFP's) projects for Information Technology commodities and collaborates with internal customers on requirements and selection criteria. Leads supplier contract negotiations, re-negotiations, and contract amendments and addendums in support of Textron's and business unit strategic direction. Develops and implements negotiations strategies that have financial impacts to the company.
* Maintains and supports existing contracts with amendments, SOW changes and extensions.
* Act as a liaison in arranging meetings between potential suppliers and internal customers.
* Understands and utilizes supply chain management strategies to drive breakthrough performance in current metrics and future metrics.
* Develops and maintains strong working relationships with a broad spectrum of internal customers including staff across the Textron business units.
* Monitors respective markets and provides market insight to business teams. Understands and implements pricing strategies to capitalize on and protect against business and market volatility.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Less than 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Six Sigma experience/exposure preferred
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Exposure to SCM preferred
