2025 National Park Service InternXL Historical Black Colleges and Universities Internship ProgramPosition DescriptionNPS Unit: Various Openings Across the CountryThe Greening Youth Foundation (GYF) is committed to engaging under-represented youth and young adults by connecting them to the outdoors and careers in conservation. GYF's culturally based environmental education programs engage local communities, exposing youth to healthy lifestyle choices and fostering a healthier community overall. We believe that individuals from diverse backgrounds can significantly benefit from career opportunities in state and federal land management sectors. To support this, GYF continues to build partnerships with land management agencies, offering service and internship opportunities that create pathways to careers in conservation.Position Overview: Each year, GYF hosts interns from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country, placing them in 12-week internships with the National Park Service. Our mission is to increase the representation of people of color in the federal government and create meaningful career opportunities within conservation and public service.Pay and Hours: $17.20 per hour 40 hours per week 12-week internship duration
