AbbVies Patient Safety & Quality - Insights and Operations Development Program consists of three rotations over two years to prepare you for future key positions within AbbVie. The program combinesexperiential learning, formal training, and coaching and mentoring by our business leaders. You will have the opportunity to work in 3 different roles which are designed to give you broad exposure and learning opportunities across the Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety, Epidemiology, and Quality (PSEQ) organization.

PSEQ works collaboratively and strategically with colleagues across the product lifecycle to identify, evaluate, understand, and communicate the safety profile and ensure quality standards of AbbVie products to protect patients worldwide.

Based on business need and your personal preferences, you have the potential to rotate through the following functional areas:

• Global Knowledge Management and Digital Collaboration placeshuman-centric ideologyandforward-thinkingat thecenter of our innovation. The team providestechnology, innovation, process, and culture solutionsfor PSEQ, by utilizing iterative design and diverseexpertise toseek, identify, and optimize opportunitiesto findthe best way to get things done.
• Global Portfolio Management leads the evolution of PSEQ strategic priorities from projectstrategy through execution. The team creates sustainable business value by partnering hand-in-hand with PSEQ leaders and their teams to solve their most pressing business challenges.
• Global Quality Systems develops, deploys, manages, and continuously improves the AbbVie Quality System in R&D to ensure the AbbVie Quality Policy objectives are achieved through a commitment to quality and continuing effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Health Literacy applies plain language principles to ensure health information is simple, understandable and actionable. The team creates patient and provider-facing tools, including plain language summaries of clinical trial results, patient information leaflets, medication guides, and digital health tools. They ensure that health materials created are easily understandable and culturally competent by conducting user testing to validate the materials effectiveness.
• Inspection & Audit independently assesses compliance and quality of AbbVie R&Ds pharmaceutical, device, and combination products GxP lifecycle standards. In partnership with R&D and R&D Quality, the team ensures continuous real time inspection readiness through identification of internal audit trends, knowledge management, and robust proactive CAPAs.
• Office of the Product Safety Team sets operational strategy for Product Safety Teams at AbbVie. The team executes the strategy through contract execution and management, program management, operational support, implementation and oversight.
• Safety Operations Compliance works globally to deliver high quality and timely adverse event management through industry-leading Individual Case Safety Reporting (ICSR) compliance at AbbVie. The team investigates ICSR non-compliance and identifies areas of opportunity to ensure alignment with global PV regulations and AbbVie expectations.

Most Development Program members will be placed within one of AbbVies offices in Lake County, IL for at least one rotation, with the possibility of an initial placement or rotation in another U.S. AbbVie location. Placements are subject to change and will be based onbusiness needs and our ability to accommodateindividuals' preferences, when possible.The position is limited to a maximum of 2 years.

Post Program:Members will be eligible for Safety and R&D Quality roles based on combination of role fit, business need, member performance, and member preference.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a bachelors degree in business, mechanical engineering, or other related field, with an expected graduation date between December 2024 June 2025
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a school or student organization setting.
• Willingness to relocate outside of Lake County, IL for 1 or 2 eight-month rotation(s).
• Must submit unofficial or official transcript at time of application.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Capability to blend technical and business knowledge and supplement it with analytical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects within a work and/or academic environment, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively in teams, being adaptable, innovative, proactive, and maintaining high ethical standards.
• Successful completion of the AbbVieInternship
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred.
• Mobile post-program.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes ingood faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individualcompensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimatelypay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

• This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
