2025 Private Capital Advisory & Fundraising: Private Capital Advisory Summer Associate Program (GP-led) - New York

Evercore's Private Capital Advisory ( PCA ) group seeks to hire summer associates to join their US GP (general partner)-led team in New York.

PCA provides independent advice and execution services to leading private equity sponsors and institutional investors on a variety of strategic transactions across the private capital spectrum including (i) sponsor driven private equity fund recapitalizations, (ii) sales of portfolios of private assets, (iii) seeded capital raises, and (iv) management team spin-outs. PCA's clients include private equity sponsors, financial institutions, asset managers, pension funds, endowments, foundations, and family offices seeking to utilize the secondary private equity market. PCA focuses on a diverse range of asset types including buyout, venture, credit, real estate, energy, and infrastructure.

Over PCA's 10-week summer program, these summer associates will work with PCA's GP-led team on providing strategic advisory services to financial sponsors across a variety of portfolio and fund management objectives. A deal example can be found here.

Responsibilities of a summer associate could include drafting client presentation materials, valuation analysis, management and execution of live deal situations, and assistance with new business development.

Specific Qualifications

* Be a current First Year MBA student

* Preferably 3+ years of relevant work experience

* Strong interest in the secondaries market

* Strong grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting

* Superior analytical skills, problem solving, and creativity

* Demonstrated excellence and intellectual curiosity in academic coursework

* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills - a team player

* Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral

* A proven track record of incredible work ethic and the ability to produce excellent results under pressure

* High personal standards of excellence

* Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character

Expected Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $185,000
