This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable industry experience and make meaningful contributions to real projects. As an intern, you will assist in various phases of design, planning, and construction administration under the mentorship of experienced professionals.Location: Arlington, VA with travel to client and project sites.Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist in the preparation of design and construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and calculations. Support the team in project planning, scheduling, and coordination tasks.
  • Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Research & Documentation: Conduct research on codes, materials, and design solutions as needed. Document project updates, meeting notes, and other project-related information.
  • Fieldwork: Travel to project sites with team members to observe and document existing conditions or construction progress as needed.
  • Learning & Growth: Engage in mentoring opportunities and on-the-job training to develop technical and professional skills.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when needed.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to contributing to the success of the team.
