QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Education or Social Services. Experience working with elementary school students, preferably in an afterschool setting and supervisory experience preferred. Able to work as a team, excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Afterschool Coordinator creates a safe, positive environment that supports childrens' social, emotional and physical growth.This position provides on-site coordination of staff and programs such as organizing and planning after school and summer camp activities, coordinating and managing registration processes and class assignments, collaborating with school personnel, providing academic activities in Math and Literacy that link to the school day and working with families to encourage involvement.
