24-25 Athletics Ticket Taker

Mission Statement: Everett Athletics strives to educate and inspire student athletes to be the

Responsibilities: As ticket taker at sporting events, you are directly responsible to both the

Principal and the Directorof Athletics. The ticket taker must realize that any activity sponsored

by EHS Athletics is part of the total program offered by EHS. Individuals in charge of such

activities must utilize sound educational principles and goals if athletics are to be a worthwhile

part of the overall school program. Some of the duties of the ticket taker shall include:

DUTIES:

? Sell tickets and collect money from patrons.

? Balance tickets sold and money collected at the end of each event.

? Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity, using criteria such as color or date

issued.

? Be willing to refuse admittance to patrons and/or students at the direction of

administrators.

? Assist patrons with finding seats, locating restrooms and providing guidance in an

emergency.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Previous Ticket Taker experience is desirable.

2. Previous experience in either high school, college or both is desirable.

3. Knowledge of different sports and their rules and MIAA regulations governing those

sports.

4. Evidence of ability to get along with pupils, parents, colleagues, and other citizens.
