As a VISTA member, you'll play a vital role in building our Community Sponsorship Program's capacity. You'll work closely with volunteers and co-sponsorship groups to support refugees' successful integration into the US. Tasks include developing strategies for engagement, creating recruitment plans, and building systems for increased caseloads. Collaboration with case managers ensures program efficiency. Member Duties : - Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our program, including its systems, processes, and resources. - Identify key players and stakeholders involved in the program and understand their roles and responsibilities. - Research and analyze the historical environment of our program to gain insights and learn from past experiences. - Evaluate the level of engagement of the target community and identify areas for improvement and increased involvement. - Implement systems for tracking and monitoring program activities and outcomes, allowing for data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. - Document best practices, lessons learned, and successful strategies employed during their tenure. - Create comprehensive onboarding and training materials and resources. - Foster relationships and partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders. - Facilitate knowledge transfer through workshops, presentations, and mentoring opportunities.
