The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Per DiemShift: VARIED SHIFTDepartment: Care CoordinationPosition SummarySummary:Social Workers provide services to all types and ages of patients, including infants, children, adolescents, young adults and the elderly.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • MSW (Master in Social Work) from a School of Social Work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. (CSWE) Experience And Skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Prior experience in Social Work in a health care setting or other relevant social work setting is preferred. License/Certifications • LMSW (New York State Certification in Social Work) • Mandated OMH documentation: Mandated reporter attestation and Code of Conduct • Screen CertificationWorking ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. • Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. • Standing for long periods of time. • Frequent, prolonged standing/walking. • Ability to lift five pounds. • Ability to work in confined areas. • Must be able to respond in an expedient manner for Hospitals Codes (e.g., Code Grey, Code Adam, and Medical Team). • Frequent telephone usage.
