Job Description:

25-26 Associate, Evaluation & Monitoring VISTA at Womankind

Womankind is a NYC-based nonprofit with over 40 years of grassroots experience serving pan-Asian immigrant survivors of gender-based violence. Through our programs, we offer access to a safe place to live, counseling, legal assistance, wellness activities, and so much more. Womankind is an expert in serving Asian communities, yet our services are valuable and available to all. Whether in our services or in our increasing advocacy and policy work, Womankind first centers the survivor by uplifting them to control their own lives and narratives. In addition to promoting healing and safety through service provision, Womankind promotes gender justice through research, coalition building, policy analysis, and community education and mobilization. Our Evaluation and Monitoring program seeks to develop metrics and analytics to support service improvement across all programs and facilitate the delivery of accountability reports to our funders, which the VISTA will support. The Associate, Evaluation & Monitoring (E&M) (VISTA) will play a critical role in reviewing and improving current evaluation methods of Womankind client services programs. They will support the building, testing, and applying efficient evaluation frameworks in collaboration with the different program stakeholders. They will also play a crucial role in gathering, organizing, and analyzing collected data. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.

Member Duties : The E&M Associate will assess the current state of evaluation methods within Client Services programs. They will gather information about evaluations from each program that are currently used. They will also create a summary document regarding findings. The E&M Associate will analyze and review the findings regarding the current evaluation of our programs. The program logic models, the 2024 client questionnaire, and other program surveys will be used to inform the initial approach and design of the evaluations. The E&M Associate will design basic evaluation models for programs based on the work done between 2024 and 2025. The process will need to be documented for sustainability.
