Job Description:

Freedom, a national Direct Mail Company based in Aurora, IL, is one of the largest, independently owned, privately held, direct mail marketing providers in the United States. Why Freedom? Because we are a leader in the direct mail space, investing in technology and resources to facilitate innovative ideas, and we're looking to add a 2nd Web Press Operators to our team. The 2nd Press Operators assists the Press Operator in running our web presses. In this position you will:

  • Pack and hang plates and blankets according to company standards
  • Maintain each print unit, including, but not limited to, installing new rollers and maintaining good ink transfer within acceptable quality guidelines
  • Obtain color to color register
  • Assist the Press Operator with Inline and Inkjet make-ready and operation
  • Run the press when the Press Operator is absent or away from the press
Qualifications & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
  • Experience with inline finishing
  • At least one year of experience as a Lithographic 2nd Pressman or Rolltender
  • Experience producing quality four color process pieces
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hours per shift
