OverviewChallenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on is seeking a candidate to assemble automotive lifts and lift components as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Responsbile for applying powder coat paint to surface of parts and components, removing media from components after shot blast process, and hanging parts and components to the paint line.Responsibilitieso Assemble automotive lifts and components/accessorieso Place components on paint lineo Assist in implementation of 6S initiatives and activities with emphasis on safetyo Suggest and assist in process improvements which assures quality, efficiency, and safety is built into the processo Assist in fabrication processes as needed• Apply powder coat paint to product with electrostatic spray gun.• Clean, maintain and prepare booth and powder coating equipment, clean room, floor, equipment.• Remove media from components after shot blast process.• Hang and remove parts and components on paint line.• Other duties as requested by the Production Supervisor.Qualificationso An understanding and ability to use assembly toolso Capable of reading a tape measureo Understanding of blueprint readingo Excellent communication skills. Must be able to communicate at all levels of the organizationo Strong understanding of process interaction o Strong problem solving skillso Understanding of general manufacturingo Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a dayo Must be able to periodically lift up to 45 pounds• High School diploma or GED.• Organizational skills, ensuring precision, orderliness and neatness and be detailed oriented.• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective manner.• Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges and be a self starter.• Able to work overtime as needed.• Must be able to work as a team player
