The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This position performs all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair mechanic under minimal supervision.What We Offer:

Responsibilities:
- Performs diagnostic/mechanical repairs on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components. Testing when completed to ensure repairs are completed properly.
- Train new technicians.
- Follow safety rules and company policies always.
- Communicate to Service Foreman regarding parts that are not available for repairs.
- Download and save to Paccar Solutions/Decisiv: all pictures, engine files (before and after repair), and diagnostic test used to perform repair.
- Record in detail, the description of all trouble shooting steps and results of repairs made and any other information about the repair.
- Save all warrantable parts. Tag, wash, box and turn in to correct location. Labels the box with repair order number, S/N, customer name and date.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Clean and return tools used.
- Advise the following shift's technicians with any special instructions or concerns you found when repairing truck.
- Maintain efficiency and productivity goals set forth by Service Manager.
- Maintain Peterbilt online training percentage of 95%.
- Obtain class A or B CDL and retain during employment.
- Perform other duties and repairs as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Should possess a High School diploma.
- A college degree or a certificate or degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Must Possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
- Motor Vehicle Record adheres to TLG MVR Guidelines.
