Hastings Insurance is currently seeking a Facility Services Cleaner to join its Corporate Services Team! The individual in this role will provide daily cleaning and housekeeping support in maintaining our corporate offices, equipment, and grounds areas, ensuring these spaces are consistently clean, presentable, and well-maintained.
Position Specific Details
* Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, this position will work a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday from 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
* This position will work throughout our corporate campus, a three-level, 151,00 square foot office complex.
* In addition to interior office spaces, campus grounds include a large paved parking lot, concrete walkways, lawns, landscaped beds, and outbuildings.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
* Building Maintenance:
* Supports the cleanliness and maintenance of all building public spaces, entrances, common areas, restrooms, stairwells, and conference rooms.
* Supports inside maintenance including lighting, carpeting, and miscellaneous repairs.
* Assists with facility change or modification as needed, such as small moves, meeting setup/tear down, or workstation adjustments.
* Grounds Maintenance:
* Assists in light maintenance of landscaping as needed.
* Participates in special projects as assigned.
* Actively participates in professional development, i.e. continuing education or self-improvement.
* Other duties as assigned by leadership, either verbally or in writing.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* Demonstrated experience or knowledge of housekeeping processes is required, with a high level of attention to detail.
* Basic computer knowledge is preferred, for email communication as needed and daily timekeeping.
* Ability to provide excellent customer service, work within a team setting, and professional appearance is required.
* Physical Requirements Include:
* Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to perform job tasks.
* Ability to use various (non-toxic) chemical cleaning solutions and agents.
* Corrected vision to the normal range to read numbers, reports, and other data utilized.
* Ability and full range to lift up to 50lbs, stoop and bend regularly.
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
