Overview:We are seeking a skilled Narrow Web Flexo Operator to join our team in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will operate a Mark Andy press, ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the Mark Andy flexographic press for narrow web printing.
- Monitor production runs, adjusting settings as needed to maintain quality and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance on the press and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the printing process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and good manufacturing practices.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records for inventory and reporting purposes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating narrow web flexo presses, specifically Mark Andy presses, is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Knowledge of flexographic printing processes and materials.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
