Summary: 2nd Shift Leve 4 Assembly Technicians work in production and may have a specialized role in the manufacturing and assembly of an item such as installing fasteners, connecting wires, and testing of assemblies. They maintain an in-depth knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations, allowing them to safely operate equipment and use resources appropriately. Assemblers aim to be as efficient and consistent as possible when putting together a product. They troubleshoot problems with their equipment and service it to ensure it works properly. Responsibilities:
  • Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Follow company procedures and directives.
  • Maintain efficiency standards.
  • Assist in improvement projects and teams as assigned.
  • Use of hand / power tools and equipment.
  • Test finished products for defects.
  • Basic computer operations.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
Requirements:
  • High school or GED.
  • Previous training and/or supervisory experience preferred.
Position Details:
  • Full-Time, non-exempt position.
  • Second Shift (M-T) 3:00pm - 1:30am. Required overtime as needed.
  • Position reports to the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager
