Job Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Shipping and Receiving department during the evening shifts, along with managing inventory control during those times.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Oversee the shipping and receiving department on 2nd and 3rd shiftOversee all outbound loads to Oak State's customersCheck outbound loads from productionWork with the department manager on job prioritiesUpdate truck lines on pick up timesCoordinate work load with all shiftsTake bulk samples and oversee deliveriesLoad, and unload trucks as neededMonitor raw and packaging materials for purchasing departmentOversee paperwork for inbound and outbound loads and make corrections as neededAbility/willingness to learn to operate yard spotter for moving trailers within yard / docksAll other duties as assignedMeet all necessary overtime requirements including weekendFlexibility on scheduling (shift start/stop times)Disciplined to work safely as well as scene of urgencyKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and HACCPExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredMust display a great attention to detailAbility to perform basic mathematical skillsAbility to multi task is a mustAbility to stand and walk up to 80% of the time scheduledAbility to climb and work at large heightsMust understand and follow all safety policies and proceduresMust be comfortable working on computerAbility to take direction and insure assignments are completedJob Qualifications:
