Job Description:
Job DescriptionPURPOSE OF POSITION: Coordinate day-to-day operational duties of Haggerty Logistics including general supervision and dispatch of drivers on daily route schedules.JOB/TASK FUNCTIONS:The following job/task functions have been identified as the core functions of this position. However, the supervisor or manager may assign additional duties associated with this position.
  • Process disputes with carrier-bases and dispositions per Haggerty Logistics processes
  • Directs preparation of claims against carrier responsible and corresponds with shipper or consignee to effect settlement.
  • Process Haggerty Logistics vendor invoices to Accounting and Purchasing to ensure timely payment
  • Monitors and maintains ETIME records for Haggerty Logistics associates, working with Operations Manager to obtain missing data
  • Works with designated accounting associates to ensure freight invoices are paid per Haggerty Logistics timeline and process
  • Follows-up on all questions regarding past due invoices, disputes, excess charges and provides solution
  • Process SOS requests to move freight to/from Haggerty Logistics (service parts and/or slow-moving inventory). Works with Operations Manager and/or Dispatchers to schedule trucking, and processes all freight IB/OB of Haggerty Logistics. Follows Haggerty Logistics processes and timelines in all situations and utilizes proper QAD screens to complete product transfers
  • Maintain polite customer (internal and external) and associate relations to facilitate any situation as necessary
  • Coordinate and complete safety incident investigations - both related to OSHA-related incidents and DOT-related incidents
  • Monitor bid boards (XPO, Active Aero, DAT Board) to book back hauls for drivers and locate loads for open drivers

Managerial: Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of subordinate associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
