Position SummaryWill be trained to operate heading machines of various types and sizes. The training will include the set-up, operation and routine machine maintenance. The Machine Operator will be required to follow all Quality standards and maintain production requirements. Responsibilities
- Set-up, adjust, and operate equipment as trained in a safe manner.
- Read and understand blue prints
- Properly use gages and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts.
- Perform first piece inspections, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform minor preventive maintenance, complete all required tracking documents
- Work with tooling and maintenance personnel to maximize production efficiencies
- Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 documentation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Ability to perform basic math
- Good mechanical aptitude
- HSD/GED or equivalent experience
- Previous machine operation a plus
- Previous Heading experience preferred
