Job DescriptionGpac is currently working with a rapidly growing food manufacturer in northwestern Kentucky who is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Manager. This location has two facilities running 24/7 across 3 shifts - plus a third on its way! They are seeking a hands-on leader with previous experience working in food processing/RTE environment. Responsible for:
- Overseeing maintenance department on 2nd shift
- Lead and coordinate routine and non-routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Work with team to troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness and reliability
- Schedule and supervisor team including performance evaluations and hands-on training
- Ensure compliance with company GMP and safety policies, procedures and practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in food production/facility maintenance; 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with SQF or other GFSI programs
- College degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; equivalent experience may be substituted for educational requirements
- Must be a proactive team player who learns quickly when facing new challenges and is open to change
- Advanced mechanical and electrical skills including ability to read schematics
- Must be able to work with power tools and handle high and low voltages. Must have own tools
- Ability to read engineering schematics such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic
- Welding experience
- Light carpentry skills
- MUST have Knowledge of Weber Slicers, Multivacs, labelers, and flow wrappers sealing machines
