Job Description:
A. RELIABILITY 1. Must have reliable transportation and be available to work schedule work times. 2. Participate in focus teams as well as discussions concerning improvements to the processes. B. ADMINISTRATIVE 1. Must be able to operate various computers, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment as required. 2. Must possess above average computer skills and math ability. i. General knowledge of mechanical operations 3. Must possess the ability to work without direct supervision and communicate effectively with other personnel at all levels of the plant. 4. Must possess the ability to work short notice daily overtime if required, as well as scheduled overtime. 5. Responsible for completion of required documentation on received orders: i. Paperwork and computerized transactions using EAM program. 6. Must possess the ability to prepare requisitions. 7. Must possess the ability to conduct cycle counting of parts and materials inventory in a backup capacity. 8. Responsible for preparing outbound shipments: i. Samples ii. Items for repair iii. Warranty returns. 9. Responsible for learning the following EAM procurement and Maintenance Control StandardOperating Procedure: i. Vendor Management ii. Storeroom Management 1. Print labels. 2. Row Bin maintenance. i. all work orders with all parts received to Ready for Scheduling when all parts have been issued to include stock items. ii. Provide a copy of the work order. 3. Duties outside of EAM a. File Received Purchase Orders. 10. Responsible for reconciling various accounting problems as received from vendors and the CALM center. C. KEYDUTIES OF POSITION 1. Responsible for picking up material deliveries from various vendors, deliveries, staged at the plant receiving areas. 2. Responsible for opening shipping containers and/or packages: i. Verification of quantities. ii. Verification of correctness of order. iii. Verification of quality of order. 3. Responsible for storing received items into designated storage cabinets, drawers, and/or shelves as required. 4. Responsible for making local vendor pickups as required. 5. Must be able to operate various equipment: i. Hand trucks or dollies. ii. Pallet jacks. iii. Any other material handling devices needed to assist in performance of job. 6. Responsible for assisting service technician's, production personnel and other personnel in locating needed parts from storeroom, and/or researching needed parts through use of parts lists, equipment manuals, and/or computerized documentation. 7. Responsible for printing bar code labels and applying to bin locations and parts.
