    Cerelia USA's state-of the-art food production plant in Whitehall, Ohio is hiring on our 1st shift! The new facility is dedicated to the retail product portfolio with a specialization in rolled dough (pizza, pie, pastry) and cookie dough. You can find our rolled doughs under our Jus-Rol brand name in major grocery retailers in your area!

    Primary Responsibilities

    Leads are the first ownership of their floor area, first line of defense; if need more direction, reach out to supervisor. As the Break Reliever & Cross-Trained Equipment Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the supervisor and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing line. This position requires someone who takes initiative, has a sense of urgency, is solution-oriented and possesses excellent communication skills. This role will report directly to our Production Supervisor

  • As a primary role, the Lead is responsible for ensuring that the production line is running consistently at the designated speed, the line is producing a quality product and all of the operators are able to do their work successfully.
  • The role requires 100% active/mobile floor presence.
  • Act as a break reliever for the production line operators, ensuring seamless workflow and minimal disruptions.
  • Communicating with team, assisting with and anticipating equipment issues, while escalating accordingly to ensure smooth operation.
  • Cross-train on all equipment within the production line to effectively handle any operational challenges and assist team members.
  • Lead by example, motivating and guiding the team towards achieving performance metrics and production targets.
  • Take initiative in identifying process improvements (CI), streamlining operations and implementing best practices to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor to develop and implement training programs for team members in addition to identifying training opportunities.
  • Participate in regular huddles to provide updates on line performance, challenges, and potential improvements.
  • Actively listens to the team members' feedback and implements necessary changes to improve their work experience.
  • Demonstrates empathy and understanding while providing support and guidance to team members.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
