Job Title: Production WorkerJob DescriptionWORK SCHEDULE: 2nd shift 3p to 11:20 p M-F $17/hr; Overtime schedule may include Fridays when needed (expected to be clocked in no more than 5 minutes before shift and at work station at start of shift).JOB DUTIES: This position is responsible for working on the line in the Bottling Dept. The flow of the line is set up in the following order: 1) Unscrambler (ensures the bottles are standing up properly) 2) Orientor (ensures bottles are facing correct direction for labels to be applied) 3) Filler (fills bottles with honey batch) 4) Capper (places caps/lids on bottles) 5) Coder (places manufacturing date on bottle) 6) Heat Tunnel (seals the bottle) 7) Labeler (places labels on bottle) 8) Cartoner (seals boxes for shipping)There are 3 main positions all line workers will rotate on throughout the line in a given shift: (A) Top Position (B) Middle position (C) PackerHard SkillsproductionpackinginspectionSoft Skillsattention to detailability to read and write Englishability to stand for entire shiftability to work within a team environmentJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.Work EnvironmentCOMPANY CULTURE/ STRUCTURE: Company Culture: This is a privately held, family-owned company that has grown significantly over the past 10 years. Good attendance and an overall passion to work is to be expected.Company Structure: There are 3 main areas that production operations are run out of: - Pouch Line (liquid or gelatin's sealed in pouches) - Bottling Line (various flavorings and extracts) - Color Line (high-speed food coloring bottle line)Operations Leadership Hierarchy: • Plant Manager • Shift Line Leads (1st/2nd/3rd)Work Environment: • Clean work environment that is partially climate controlled • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) food and beverage regulations enforced by Food and Drug Administration (FDA) • Safe Quality Foods (SQF) certified facility with stringent policies and procedures that must be followed by all employeesDress Code: Dress code is jeans and t-shirt (no buttons or hoodies) and then they will be given.
