POSITION OVERVIEW Title 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector Department(s) Quality Control Inspection Reports to Quality Manager
JOB SUMMARY The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting and counting labels while putting them into their finished format. During this inspection phase the Inspector ensures that the finished product meets Dion's high quality standards and the customer's requested specifications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION - Inspection of finished product
Strobe or camera assisted - Putting product into finished form
Rolls or stacks Print and apply roll and core labels Requirements vary - Completing order specific paperwork
Job ticket Approval sheet ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS - Flexibility to assist where needed in the Inspection and Production departments. Including, but not limited to:
- Bagging finished product at heat sealer
- Catching and packaging sheeted labels at press
- Assembling label packets
ABILITIES REQUIRED - Basic computer skills
- Ability to read a ruler
- Basic math skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods
- Ability to work in a production environment around noise and machinery
