Although most don't realize it, our products are used to build the homes, roads, and bridges that people throughout the Midwest use every day of their lives!We are looking for a 2nd shift Quarry Plant Maintenance person at our Jefferson Barracks Quarry, located in St. Louis, MO. This is a union position with the Local 513 Operators. In the Quarry Plant Maintenance position you will be responsible for performing crusher plant maintenance and operating maintenance-related mobile equipment as needed. The schedule will be 5 to 6 days per week (based on season) with a current start time of 4:00 pm. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed -- attendance is extremely important to the role. This is a union position with the Local 513 Operators.2nd Shift Quarry Plant Maintenance responsibilities include:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushing equipment to ensure optimal plant productivityInspect and replace worn partsWeld broken parts and other items as necessary using stick welding and cutting torch processesPerform preventative maintenance including oil changes and inspectionsAssisting crew in all aspects of quarry operation as assignedProperly follow all company policies and governmental regulationsThe ideal 2nd Shift Quarry Plant Maintenance candidate will have:High school diploma or GEDA strong work ethic and commitment to working safelyHands-on maintenance experienceA background in quarry operations is preferredStrong mechanical aptitudeProficiency in fabrication and welding is preferredA valid driver's licenseCandidates must have the ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions.This is a great time to join our team.
