Position Title: SanitationWage: $21.00 per hourShift: 2ndQPS Employment Group has a great Sanitation position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.Sanitation Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - This position involves using many different types of chemicals and sanitation equipment such as foamers, steam hoses, COP and CIP systems. - Because of the very sensitive nature of their product, proper sanitation technique and great attention to detail is crucial. - Must be able to follow written procedures for sanitation including chemical use, cleaning methods, and safety requirement/rules - Accurate record keeping as required by the position. - You're are required to report unsafe conditions or practices to Plant Management - You are required to correctly and safely tear down equipment and perform sanitation tasks as trained by your Lead Person and / or Supervisor. - Must follow all GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices). - You may be required to use a powered pallet lift truck (if required by your position).Sanitation Requirements: - Ability to stand, walk with frequent bending, twisting, pushing and squatting during the entire work day. - Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. repetitively (depending on line position). - Ability to frequently be on knees inspecting and cleaning undersides of equipment or up on ladders. - Ability to work in a fast-paced sanitation environment. - Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene. - Ability to read and write so as to effectively communicate in the plant and understand procedure, policies and processes. - High School diploma or equivalent is desired but not required. - Food plant sanitation experience helpful. - Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job as described in this document. - Must be honest and dependable. - Must be able to work in a clean but often times steamy, wet, and moderately noisy environment....@qpsemployment.comIND038About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
