SUMMARY This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing section. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing, coaching and directing Off Line Han-chos.
- Directing the problem solving activities of the manufacturing area.
- Analyzing processes for continuous improvement.
- Analyzing and continuously improving scrap and defective products produced.
- Analyzing and continuously improve overall plant efficiency.
- Improve overall product quality.
- Determine and prepare T/M daily work (Standardize work).
- Determine and prepare section training requirements and plan.
- Implement abnormal occurrence plan when necessary.
- Determine Kanban setting and Kanban Flow
- Supporting the efforts of other sections within the company to achieve goals and targets
- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.
- Conduct morning, Jisu-ken, CFT, OA up, and training meetings as required.
- Able to adjust schedule and hours for the belefit of the Company/Section.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position will manage and direct Han-chos and Hourly Team Members. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of electronic automotive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of the Toyota Production System
- Complete process knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired.
- 5 years of prior applicable experience in manufacturing.
- 2 years management experience required.
- Electronics experience desired.
- Automotive experience desired.
- Valid passport for travel required for travel
ORGANIZATIONAL (AND OUTSIDE) RELATIONSHIPS All other AEIL Departments and various outside vendors and customers. WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding debris, compressed air, metal shavings, propane, solvents and occasional heavy lifting.
- Exposed to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could result in injury up to and including a fatality if safety measures are not followed and adhered to.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions that require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and/or Safety Shoes. Primary environment: Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided.
