Scope of the Position

2nd Shift Shipping & Receiving (Monday - Friday, 12pm - 8:30pm) Candidate will Unload and load trailers, equipment, etc as needed. Calculate amount of received material and match it to vendor document. Process necessary documents, operate hilo and crane to handle material as needed. Assures all product is properly inspected.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apply safe work practices.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate shipping and receiving equipment including Hilo, crane, mechanical dock plate system.
• Operate necessary office equipment.
• Process documents to computer system.
• Create forms/labels to meet customer needs.
• Band or shrink wrap skids as needed.
• Communicate non-conforming issues to group leader.
• Complete all paperwork by end of shift.
• Prepares paperwork for outbound shipments.
• Follows help chain.
• Communicates issues with previous and next shift.
• Enters information for each delivery
• Perform safety checks on equipment
• Maintain 5-S standards

Qualifications

• Must have 2-5 years of related experience
• GED Required, additional education preferred
• Able to operate a hi-lo/fork-lift
• Willing to work overtime
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Able to perform in a high-paced environment
• Strong Computer Skills
• CDL Certified for spotting traile
