Riverhawk Company designs and builds hardware systems and tooling for power generation systems and other applications for companies such as GE, Siemens, and Johnson Controls. As a leader in engineering-driven manufacturing, Riverhawk is looking to add an experienced CNC machinist to its team. This full time position is based out of the New Hartford, NY office. This position is second shift (2:30-11:00 pm)
What we need:
Applicants should have the following skills and abilities.
- A minimum of five years of machine shop experience
- A minimum of three years of set-up experience
- Strong experience with CNC Mills and Lathes
- Proficient in print reading
- Gauging and inspection
- Tooling & Fixtures
- Boring Soft Jaws
- Understanding of Machine programming
- Ability to read and understand G & M Codes
- Knowledge of Feed & Speed
- Demonstrate excellent safety practices & Housekeeping
- Manual machining experience preferred
- Grind experience preferred
