We are looking for a new team member that expects excellence out of themselves and strives to reach their full potential. Specific Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions
Ability to weld 1F, 2F, and 3F welds to D1.1 standards. Ability to weld 1G, 2G and 3G to D1.1 or standards. Understand shop tolerances and welding code requirements. Self-inspect welds and repair them to within acceptance criteria. Proficiently interpret weld symbols. Proficiently interpret WPS. Basic understanding of oxy/fuel cutting and heating of metal. Complete tasks in an acceptable timeframe and take pride in your work. Report equipment damage to Supervisor or Maintenance. Be able to perform basic set up on a welding machine. (Replace rollers, welding leads, regulators, adjust amperage, and volts to tune welder.) Maintain a clean and safe work area. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- Attention to details.
- Operate a variety of machine shop equipment, grinder, needle scalers, are pre-heat torches in addition to welding equipment.
- Can read and interpret blueprints.
- Can follow processes and procedures.
- Adaptable to different environments.
- Function effectively as part of a team.
- Clean pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Clean background screening that includes previous employment, education, criminal history and driving record verification.

- Occasionally use of ladders and lifts, some climbing required.
- Position requires walking and standing most of the time.
