This role requires a blend of operational expertise, strategic account management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.Key Responsibilities:
- Client Account Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning services accordingly.
- Monitor account performance, identifying opportunities to optimize service offerings and drive growth.
- Operational Oversight:
- Utilize and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to ensure seamless inventory control, order processing, and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Address operational issues and troubleshoot WMS-related challenges to improve efficiency.
- Strategic Growth:
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within client accounts to expand service portfolios.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to onboard new clients effectively.
- Analyze account data to develop insights and strategies for improved client engagement and profitability.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with international and domestic freight regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on account performance, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Support audits and maintain accurate documentation for client accounts.
Qualifications:Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Extensive experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in a 3PL environment is required.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, including air, ocean, and ground logistics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with customs regulations and international trade compliance is a plus.
