Job DescriptionThe primary responsibilities of the 3rd Party Vendor Management Specialist is to coordinate and execute activities relating to North America market place for inline and hot market apparel. This process includes preparation, production, and distribution of finished goods. This position also assists with locating, recruiting and evaluating printers prior to production. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute production plan for the market place.This includes managing vendor relationships, maintaining on-time WIP performance, hot market and special event planning and execution, determining production schedules, and maintaining effective communication to internal and external partners with needed updates.
- Create purchase orders, provide artwork and customer VAS information to key strategic partners to service the business through the manufacturing process.
- Process post production invoicing and reconciliation in a timely manner This involves full accounting of inventory and proof of delivery to ensure sales revenues properly match with its respective expenses to safeguard assets.
- Manage Relationships with key blank suppliers, key strategic printers, and hot market printers throughout North America and Central America.
- Travel to markets to create and develop relationships with vendors to ensure growth strategies and on-time execution.
- Create and provide reporting to key parties internally and externally.
- Oversee contractor compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide education on policies and follows up with contractor for acceptance and compliance.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of related professional experience
- Supervisory or project management experience, in inventory control, logistics, and manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven supervisory skills and the ability to manage workflow and motivate staff
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge and understanding of major sports league special events
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good understanding of manufacturing and logistics
- Strong computer skills & ability to work in multiple systems
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word knowledge is required
