Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented 3rd Shift Assembly, Test and Final Parts Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Corporate Segment in Lakewood, NY focused on Engine Business.   • Leadership - Ability to manage daily team activities, ensuring housekeeping and production targets are met.

  • Project Management - Serve as a lead on projects, effectively coordinating work assignments.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
QualificationsAdditional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Manage the timekeeping system for direct reports to assure work time is correctly recorded and that attendance policies are applied uniformly and correctly.
  • Manage performance and behavior of direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and when needed, through use of the Progressive Discipline Policy.
  • Oversee execution of the daily Production Plan, managing application resources to maximize results.
  • Build productive manager-subordinate relationships with direct reports such that communications are effective along with effective application of policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills required. Strong ability to develop and coach staff.
  • Project work- ability to lead a Project group- start to finish.
  • CARs- Ability to work well with cross functional teams to develop and close Corrective Action Responses
