Job Description:As a Forklift Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials within our facility. Your responsibilities include:
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Material Handling: Move and organize materials efficiently, including loading and unloading trucks, stacking products, and organizing warehouse spaces.
- Inventory Management: Use RF scanners or handheld devices to track and manage inventory accurately.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts is required.
- Skills: Strong understanding of forklift operations, safety practices, and material handling.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and operate machinery in a fast-paced environment.
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older due to machinery and equipment use.
