Forklift Operator Description:
Operating Forklifts: Maneuvering forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials around a warehouse, construction site, or other work areas. Sitdown, stand up, gas or electric Loading and Unloading: Loading and unloading goods from trucks, trailers, or other vehicles using forklifts, ensuring that items are properly secured and stacked to prevent damage. Material Handling: Transporting materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks as needed, following specific instructions or procedures. Using RF Scanners Inventory Control: Keeping track of inventory levels by accurately counting and recording materials moved or handled, and reporting any discrepancies. Cross train in S&R department, using wrapping machines, labeling, etc Forklift Operator Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Forklift experience 2+ years
- Valid DL
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
