OverviewPerforms various jobs in foundry concerned with the receipt of scrap material including weighing, transporting, dumping, storing and identifying.Responsibilities* Understand and participate in TAKE CONTROL of SAFETY * Operates mobile equipment such as: pay loaders, forklifts, and skid steers* Identify material for accuracy and identification* Weighs material by use of scales* Marks and identifies material for processing* Handles a portion of maintaining of equipment by the process of Preventative Maintenance* Assist with processing of scrap through shredder or dryer.* Transports and stages material before and after processing procedure* Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.* Tests material as needed.* Assists with housekeeping standards for the areaQualifications* 1-2 years manufacturing experience* Problem Solving Skills* Basic math skills* Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detailSteel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
