: Job Details :

To maintain the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of both facilities at 80 Hawley St. and 76 Conklin Ave.

Responsibilities:

1. General housekeeping duties such as, Sweeping, mopping, power scrubbing the floors in the common areas, the vestibules and offices of both facilities. Cleaning and stocking of staff bathrooms.

2. Daily trash and recycling removal from 80 Hawley St. with use of the company truck and taken to dumpsters at 76 Conklin Ave.

3. Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, cleaning projects as assigned, not limited to but such as, cleaning interior walls, fire doors, wiping down handles, The elevator, cleaning the windows of the building inside and out, cleaning out the recycling bins and garbage bins at 80 Hawley St.

4. Maintaining the cleanliness of the exterior of both buildings, not limited to but such as, using a leaf blower to clear sidewalks, picking up cigarette butts and trash, washing first floor exterior windows, snow removal (light shoveling) and salting (with a spreader).

5. Light maintenance emergency help during the night shift should there be any issues not limited to but such as, overflowing sinks, toilets, drains, Breaker trips, etc. ( the ability to plunge / snake a toilet to clear a clog , use drain cleaner on a sink and or a sink plunger to clear a clog and to check a breaker box for a tripped breaker and switch back on , and to replace a light bulb preferred)

6. Any other duties as needed.

Reporting Relationship: Lead Maintenance Technician, Executive Director regarding any matters that require additional assistance.

Requirements: Valid NYS Driver's License. Must have general housekeeping/janitorial skills, Any Handyman skills a plus.Classification: Hourly/Non-exempt, Full - Time

Hours: 40 hrs. per week - Sunday 12:00 am 830 am Thursday 12:00 am -830 amJob Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week (30-minute lunch break each shift)
