Job Summary:
The maintenance technician position is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of industrial equipment in addition to ensuring smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services andmaintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and repair production assembly equipment.
* Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment.
* Perform general building maintenance as needed.
* Perform Preventative Maintenance.
* Implement process improvements.
* Effectively work with operations staff, manufacturing/maintenance technicians, IT and product engineers in a cross-functional team environment
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical control systems for industrial manufacturing machines.
* Experience with various devices including sensors, lasers, vision, AC/DC drives, pneumatics, linear and rotary servos, robots, etc.
* Experience with hydraulics preferred.
* PLC troubleshooting preferred.
* Experience troubleshooting CNC equipment preferred.
* Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
Education and Experience:
* Associates degree or Technical certification in Electrical and/or Mechanical field preferred.
* Minimum 3+ years' experience working as a Maintenance Technician (assembly-type machines preferred).
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifting.
* Comfortable with the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adherence to safety guidelines at all times.
This position may require flexibility to work occasional overtime or on-call hours depending on operational needs.
