Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Assist press operators through identified procedures.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Drive a clamp truck, drop rolls and open.
  • Learn to hang a roll on press and splice it in.
  • Set roll to sheet size correctly.
  • Set sheet size up and sync the Cutstar/press.
  • Start the press and understand all air adjustments on the Cutstar.
  • Install ink key liner when needed.
  • Install fountain liner, put in ink canister and put ink in the ink fountain.
  • Learn to inch, crawl and idle press.
  • Wash blankets, roller, and impression cylinders.
  • Change blankets and packing on ink units and coating unit.
  • Install plates and remove plates.
  • Learn how to startup, shut down coater and clean anilox roller.
  • Learn how to load and unload skids in delivery.
  • Learn how to clean in-press camera lens.
  • Learn how to move UV lamps in press, unplug and plug in electrical and water lines to correct unit.

  • Ability to measure product utilizing the metric system.
  • Utilize utility knife to perform precise cuts.
  • Ability to differentiate color variances.
  • Perform duties with a high attention to detail.
  • Acceptable vision or corrected vision to observe detail.
  • Ability to operate a floor jack.
  • Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Seeing and hearing: Read documents, a computer screen, answer a phone, and communicate in person.
    • Dexterity: utilizing a phone, typing and writing.
    • Lifting: at least 50 lbs of product.
    • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting of lumbar and squatting.
    • Walking: Walking on cement floors and anti-fatigue mats.
    • Standing: Standing on cement floors, and anti-fatigue mats continuously throughout the day.
    • Frequent reaching below the waist and shoulder level.
    • Continuous to frequent (depending on certain press stations) wrist motions and gripping
    • 10 Depending on the press, a pallet jack will be utilized to remove finalized product
    Additional InformationThe successful candidate must be authorized to work in the US, able to pass criminal background check, drug/alcohol screen, physical assessments, audio, and color vision test. Must be willing to work OT as needed. HS Diploma or equivalentOn the job training will be conducted during 1st shift (7:30 am to 4 pm) for approximately 4-6 weeks prior to being scheduled their regular shift.
