WebstaurantStore, a Clark Associates company, is growing! As a leading distributor of food service equipment and supplies, we value long-lasting relationships with our customers and great employees. We are currently hiring for multiple shifts for our Bloomsburg Distribution Center, which is a temperature-controlled distribution facility. Basic Overview: Receiving Material Handlers have the primary responsibility for ensuring all incoming and in-stock warehouse products are received and stocked with a high attention to quality and accuracy. You will be expected to be fast-paced and attentive to detail, willing to work hard with a good attitude, and able to embrace change. If you work well in a team-centered environment and are passionate and ambitious about meeting goals and deadlines, then you have found the right place!?As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will:
  • Check-in and put-away incoming warehouse inventory.
  • Receive/stock inbound orders as they are processed to ensure that outbound customer orders are processed as quickly and accurately as possible.
  • Meet or exceed receiving department standards for productivity and accuracy.
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Abide by all forklift safety training which includes?always wearing belt/harness, never carrying passengers who are not in a belt/harness, using the horn as needed, maintaining a safe speed, and never pulling skids directly from bins with a picker.
  • Keep the work zone clean and orderly so that the warehouse is a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties and tasks not listed as requested by the receiving manager or team lead.
  • Work directly with other employees to address questions or solve problems.
  • Flex to assist the department's business needs in tasks or projects outside of the material handler's primary duties.
  • Actively looking for process improvements during daily work and partner with Team Leaders to implement change
You must be able to meet the following basic qualifications:
  • Push and pull up to 150lbs.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Constantly bend, reach, climb, and stand throughout the shift.
  • Work a full shift of 10 hours.
  • Follow all codes of conduct, safety parameters, productivity, and quality standards, as well as attendance policies.
Language Skills:
  • We require a business proficiency in the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Shift Schedule: This shift is a 40 hour, 4-day schedule:
  • Monday-Thursday 7PM to 5:30 AM, this position may require regularly scheduled overtime
Starting wage is $20.25/hr with raise potential up to $.88 every 6 months Resume required for consideration.
