Cascade Park Communities is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver/ resident aide who are reliable and customer-service focused.
As a Resident Aide, you will be responsible for performing various resident care activities essential to caring for the ongoing personal needs of our resident population. Under general supervision, you will assist and/or provide direct care to an assigned group of Residents, as needed for their activities of daily living. You will be responsible for ensuring that you provide our Residents with consistent, compassionate, competent, high quality care.
Qualifications and Job Skills:
Experience working with elderly individuals or performing caregiving tasks is desired. Must meet or exceed all State and/or facility mandated training and continuing education requirements within the specified timelines.The following skills and attributes have been determined as essential qualifications for the Resident Aide position:Desire to work with the elderly in a homelike environment that upholds their privacy, dignity, choice, independence, and individuality.Ability to recognize and address problems promptly and appropriately.Appropriate communication skills to foster and maintain positive relations with residents and co-workers. families and physicians; and any other vendors or visitors present in community.Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the job.Ability to work independently under general supervision yet respond well to direction and guidance.Ability to make appropriate decisions related to resident care.A general understanding of the needs of the elderly.Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn new knowledge/skills.Able to work well with others and to function effectively as part of a team.Adheres to acceptable hygiene and grooming standards, with a willingness to follow Company dress code requirements.Good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity.Resident Aide will preferably have completed an HCA or CNA Certification with one-year experience. Non-certified Resident Services Aides will be considered with at least one year of previous caregiving experience, specifically with memory care or behavioral health; however, they must have the ability to obtain an HCA or CNA Certification.
