Supported platforms range from resource-constrained small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and maritime vessels.What will you do?Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site in Windsor Mill, MD, with overnight travel to our facility in Melbourne, Florida, and/or other locations as needed to support business activities. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:The selected candidate will be responsible for the testing, fabrication, assembly inspection, debugging, rework, modification, and evaluation of complex RF and digital circuit boards and assemblies for signals intelligence, radar, and communications prototype development systems. The candidate will be instrumental in the system engineering and advanced research and development associated with these products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Duties will include characterizing and debugging RF PCB issues to optimize performance, testing designs, and troubleshooting hardware problems; reading and writing schematics; generating RF design, verification, test reports by working with RF and systems and integration teams to design such reports; laying out and fabricating electronics; and testing chassis to support and contribute to engineering designs. Basic Requirements• US citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement• Ability to obtain a DoD TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance, due to contract requirement• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field or equivalent experience• Minimum 3 years engineering experience Preferred Qualifications• Active TS/SCI Clearance• Masters' degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field• Experience with the development and integration of prototype and/or production RF mission systems • Experience with the development and integration of RF mission payloads into manned and/or unmanned airborne platforms • Strong oral, written and presentation skills Azure Summit Technology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
